Monique has a B.A. in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and a Master of Arts from DePaul University. Her love for writing started as a child when she got her first pen pal, a family member in Puerto Rico. She then became obsessed with stationery. And all things writing-related, especially pens and journals! The idea of writing a children’s book developed after becoming a mother. Monique is excited to become a self-published author of her first children’s book this year.

Jaime has over 20 years of experience in graphic design. He ran his freelance design business, jmvisualdesigns, for 12 years. His passion for finance has grown over recent years, but his talent for art and design comes naturally. His preferred art style is expressionist art. Becoming a children's book illustrator wasn't something he visualized in his future. But, when your wife is the author, what choice do you have!
